Marie and Pat are two of the most wonderful people on the Island. I've been to Barbados twice, and Island Plates has been a highlight of both visits. Marie has spectacular baked goods, and Pat's curries and fish are delicious. Service is top-notch and the meal is almost always accompanied with a visit from Pat when things slow down in the kitchen. It's worth a visit to meet these wonderful people and enjoy authentic Bajan food taught to Pat and Marie by their mother, and I assume, given it's own modern twist. Enjoy!

We have had 2 deliveries from them and each was superb with delivery on time. The menu choices are to die for! The food is so tasty and plentiful - normally enough left over for a lunch, or dinner the next evening. They come in foil containers so easy to keep warm if you’re still having a sundowner when the food arrives! In February, the website was not completed and so I ordered on the website but needed to phone or email to agree the date and time. I paid cash as the online payment system didn’t go through. Thank you Marie & Pat, who respond quickly on email + WhatsApp (phone and messages).

The service is excellent and the food as delicious as ever. Received our second delivery this trip and lots more in the fridge for tomorrow. Love the seafood curry but you really can't go wrong with any of their dishes.

We sampled Pat and Marie's cooking previously when they had their little restaurant in Speightstown. Very happy to discover they are now delivering, and their food is as delicious as ever. The Bajan fish cakes are the best on the island by a long way. We had the seafood frittata - delicious - and can also recommend the mini doughnuts, which came with a salted caramel sauce to die for. Delivered bang on time and beautifully packed in recyclable packaging. Highly recommended!
